Went to hwa chong jc yesterday, took part in the HCCO Interaction 2009. Reached VS at 6.15 a.m., and talked with edwin and the others before we took a bus to the campus.
My first thought was"Wow. This place is huge." Then we went to the LT 3, lecture theatre 3. Waited while the HCCO people took care of the adminstrative details. Then we got sorted into our groups. First activity was the ice-breakers. Found out the names of my group members, Joanne, Melissa, Dylan, Shi Kai, Khai Yi and the facilitator, Jing Ying.
After the ice-breakers, we proceeded to the physical games. Shall not elaborate, it would be too long.
Next was the musical games. Played musical chairs with a few twists. Then there was the mass games. WATERBOMBS!!! Played telematches where we had to get waterbombs from one end to another without getting intercepted. Then there was the FFA, free for all. Sort of. Once the game started, all the VS people chased after yong siang, and he gave up soon after. : D
Then we got a souvenir which turned out to be a bottle with a piece of paper inside. Our team-mates had to fill up those pieces with words of appreciation. Following that was the prize presentation and we went home after that.
We were told that a facebook group would be set up wih all our pictures. I wonder if it's up yet? : D
